About CTF

The Foundation, since its founding as a non-profit public benefit corporation in California in 1988, has developed the following programs in response to the needs expressed by California's transportation agencies and persons:
  • Student Scholarships
  • Employee Emergency Assistance
  • Worker Memorials

  • Awards/Recognition
  • Event and Conference Support
  • Conference Travel per diem

CTF also sponsors the following events:

  • Transportation Forum in Sacramento in late February or early March.
  • TRANNY Awards Luncheon in Sacramento in May or June.  The award nomination deadline is March 1st each year.
  • Charitable Golf Tournament in the Sacramento Area in August.
  • Education Symposium at the Chaminade, Santa Cruz, in November.

CTF does not participate in political campaigns or lobby for projects or legislation.  It is not a membership organization but accepts the following suggested annual contributions:

Individuals: Supporting $25 Sustaining  $50 Contributing $100

Corporations:

Small $100

Medium $500

Large $1,000

The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, qualifying for individual and corporate contributions for charitable tax deductions.  Our federal EIN is
